Ego Trip: US Space Flags And Super-Duper Missiles

US President Donald Trump is much taken with the bombastic and the exaggerated. In an interview with the Associated Press in April 2017, he spoke of his infamous if somewhat less than successful wall project on the US-Mexican border. Ever happy to stretch the record on costs, he took issue with those “opponents talking $25 billion for the wall. It’s not going to cost anywhere near that.” Resembling that noisy relative who boasts about getting a cheaper deal for you on anything from car insurance to white goods, the president was confident: “I think $10 billion or less. And if I do a super-duper, higher, better, better security, everything else, maybe it goes a little bit more.”

Ohio 15-year-old receives high school diploma and college degree in the same week

Tom Jordan is several steps closer to living his dream of being a math professor. The 15-year-old was awarded his associate's degree in general science from Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio, on Sunday, graduating with a 3.93 GPA. On Friday, he will receive his diploma from GlenOak High School, where he finished with a GPA of 4.625. "What really feels good for me is that it's not really about the fact that I'm here, it's about all the experience and hard work it took to get here," Jordan, the youngest student in Stark State history, told Good Morning America. "If I were to go in and I just easily breezed through, this wouldn't really mean anything to me." Jordan first enrolled at Stark State four years ago, signing up for a pre-algebra class. Last year, he enrolled full-time for independent study classes, and was able to receive high school credit as well. When he's not studying, Jordan enjoys playing chess, and he was singing in a choir and volunteering with Toys for Tots. This fall, he will attend the…

That was probably because they sang in Italian mostly, and the music, but for those whose lyrics were translated in English and made popular by Hollywood cinema and recording artists, were too high-brow.

Conflict Zones: Mad Elephant Meddling with Himalayan Peace

By Preeta Rana Indian road construction in Nepali territory sparked a diplomatic standoff between India and Nepal recently and now the situation is the same between China and India as India is also constructing several roads in disputed land at Line of Actual Control near North of Pangong Tso Lake. According to the Indian Defence viewpoint, construction of the road has been halted by Chinese Border forces and satellite images have shown that China has deployed troops in Galway Valley and has deployed patrol boats on Pangong Tso Lake but India is not mentioning that its hands have been twisted by China for stopping it from occupying the territory of China as India had done with Nepal and Pakistan. Pangong Tso or Pangong is an endorheic lake in the Ladakh region on Line of Actual Control between India and China. This is the disputed region. Lake is situated at a height of 14,270 feet above sea level. It is 134 km (83 mi) long. The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. All together it covers 604 km2.…
